Hi melbournian,

At first I thought it was one of the guys singing falsetto, but the voice was too consistently female in pitch and timbre that I seriously wondered if it was a live female vocal or a sequenced track.

I'd have to look at the set list to work out the song, but it struck me at the time and had me wondering. I'm pretty vague at the moment. I'm blissed out by 3 days in Melbourne and a brilliant Crowdies gig.

The only song that springs to mind with an obvious female backing vocal is Transit Lounge and the band didn't play it. I looked at the setlist that was posted elsewhere here and I'm guessing the song was Fall At Your Feet... with a male band member doing the falsetto line.

If it was FAYF, yes that is Mark singing the 'ahhs' in the chorus, and the high part in 'Finger of blame...' in the bridge. Impressive range, huh? Smiler
