Actually, if we're in serious anorak territory, you will have to surrender at least one pint to me: as I am always ready to point out, spring 1987 was the era of "brackets in song titles" ... giving credence to the opinion that if only Capitol management had seen fit to dub the Crowded House tune "Don't Dream It's Over (Hey Now)

have been #1.
