What is everyone listening to right now?
I've got the West 54th sessions in the background.

quote:I can't get the CD "Rockin' the Suburbs" by Ben Folds off my CD changer...it is superb. I find that a couple of songs have a sort of E.L.O. feel to them (ie. Annie Waits)....anyone else?
I also have Jeff Buckley's "Grace" stuck in my changer....I love "Hallelujah".

quote:richard ashcroft's album is very good but dont you find that most of the songs go on to long. needs to learn how to finish a song off.(think this is just me though)

I'm a bit of a Muse and Ash fan too. My fav's would have to be "Feeling Good" and "Candy".quote:Originally posted by Error Gorilla:

If you're really into Smashing Pumpkins you'll want to get the album from somebody who got it burned straight from LP, instead of MP3. Ask some huge SP fan you know or ask around on the newsgroup alt.music.smash-pumpkins, but be careful around there. oh, wait a minute, i have it too. I'm listening to it right now!quote:Originally posted by al1159:

Yes, yes, yes.......I listen to THE WHITE STRIPES all the time! Listening to them RIGHT NOW, in fact!quote:Originally posted by drthirsty: For all those hype-meisters who say The Strokes are the new saviours of rock'n'roll, they ought to concede that title to The White Stripes!!!
I've been listening to quite a few of these 'garage' type bands and IMHO The D4 are the best of this genre - their song 'Exit to the City' really rocksquote:Originally posted by mercury:

LOL. Did you ever actually do it? I went to see it a few years ago in Exeter with my best mate, her fiancee, and her dad. It was possibly the most surreal outing with them ever as Tony (her dad) was dressed for the occasion!quote:Originally posted by Sue Diego:
[qb]The soundtrack from "ROCKY HORROR PICTURE SHOW"...I've been playing it for days...and tonight, I'm going to try and "INITIATE" my boyfriend and son into the visual experience of it.... ....wish me luck![/qb]
Neither one of them wanted any part of it... ...go figure!quote:LOL. Did you ever actually do it?
