Trying to order the box set, and the lowest shipping option to US addresses is $55AUD. Anyone found a better option?

this worked for me in europe
Excellent! Thanks.
Is there going to be a US release of this material?
I think the fan club is going to have a box set offer so I'm going to wait and see what that is. Maybe it'll be autographed.
I didn't see any mentions of a "box set", but I ordered all seven CDs as-fast as my little fingers of concrete (guitarist) could perform the transaction from the CH website this morning. I thought the cost was fair considering the exchange rate, and the Fedex shipping was reasonable considering the CDs will be here very shortly after their AUS release.
I just about passed-out when I saw the content of these reissues. Far and above exceeding any realistic expectations. Unbelievable!
The CD Deluxe editions and vinyl LPs will all be available on Amazon US and there'll soon be a dedicated site via Universal Music, presumably on crowdedhouse.com
So, the US store only lists the first 5 CDs. The CH Mark 2 albums aren't listed at all. But there's a bundle including the first 5 and a tote bag, limited to 150 orders.
There's also a vinyl + tote bag bundle, and they're selling the first CD separately. The other CDs aren't listed separately.

Looks like the vinyl releases for the first 5 albums are up on the US Amazon store.
US release date is Nov. 18.

I asked Peter a few weeks ago and he said there would be no club sale for the reissues. Unless it's literally just a box to put them in?
The deluxe editions are going to get a US release, correct? I'm hoping to buy them through Amazon. if the fan club's not offering anything special.

Yes, they are coming to Amazon US, as per Jaffaman's post above. I'm with you, I'm waiting for Amazon (they better be Prime eligible!).

Seriously! If I can save $100 on shipping (for CDs and vinyl), I'm gonna wait for it. I don't need a tote bag that badly.
Hello all---
Okay, so I've got a friend who is music writer, and he just forwarded the US press release to me. Text appears below.
The curious thing is that the press release mentions all 7 CDs and the accompanying image shows all 7 CD covers. But when I click the link, the website store doesn't show the Mark 2 albums, only the first 5. Here's the link:
http://us.udiscovermusic.com/c...e?ref=CrowdedHouseUS
The description says: For US fans, the 5 brand new 2CD import album reissues are available through uDiscover US as an exclusive bundle. Only 150 bundles are available through uDiscover US and will come with an exclusive Crowded House tote bag.
So that sounds like it's NOT a typo...the two last records aren't included in the bundle. Strange.

Celebrating 30 Years Of
Crowded House
Full Back Catalogue Deluxe Reissues on CD & Vinyl November 18, 2016
Crowded House will be celebrating their 30th anniversary by reissuing their entire catalogue in two disc deluxe CD packages and 180-gram heavyweight vinyl, unlocking a wealth of rare material that has been personally selected by Neil Finn and the band. They will be released on Friday, November 18 through Universal Catalogue, and are available to pre-order at the official Crowded House Store. Digital versions will also be available on November 4.
The two-CD packages will feature the original album with a bonus disc of rarities, b-sides and previously unreleased home demos and outtakes unearthing over 100 unreleased tracks across the campaign. Each CD package will be delivered in high quality fan-deluxe packaging, with extended notes featuring new interviews with the band and memorabilia from personal and fan archives in a 36 page book. Exclusive CD bundles will also be available here.
True to the original releases, there will also be classic reissues of each album on 180-gram heavyweight vinyl. These are all cut from the original analogue tapes at Abbey Road Studios. The LPs will not include bonus tracks.
Upon announcing the reissues Neil Finn said, “We are thrilled all seven of our albums are about to be reissued in all formats including vinyl, each one accompanied by a rich trove of rarities including writing demos and other unreleased musical curiosities, as well as new original artwork from my dear friend Nick Seymour. This has been many years in the making with much of the exhaustive listening, editing and remixing being done by the keeper of knowledge Jeremy Ansell in Auckland. It has been a labour of love for us and our mission all along was making a superlative quality, definitive document of Crowded House’s unique history for all the fans who have given us their affection over the years.”
Crowded Houses seven studio albums are:
Crowded House (1986)
Temple Of Low Men (1988)
Woodface (1991)
Together Alone (1993)
Time On Earth (2007)
Intriguer (2010)
Afterglow (1999)
The self-titled debut Crowded House, released in 1986, saw the band instantly launch onto the global stage with lead vocalist and mastermind Neil Finn, bassist Nick Seymour and drummer Paul Hester premiering timeless hits including “Don’t Dream It’s Over,” “World Where You Live” and “Something So Strong.”
1988’s Temple Of Low Men drew critical acclaim and platinum awards with Finn crafting a set of intense and personal songs revealing his true mastery of melody – highlights including “When You Come,” “I Feel Possessed” and the defining “Better Be Home Soon.”
The band’s third studio album Woodface in 1991 spawned a remarkable European following with their first UK Top 10 and hit singles “Weather With You,” “Fall At Your Feet,” “It’s Only Natural” and “Chocolate Cake.”
With 1993’s follow up Together Alone, Finn’s shining pop song-craft joined forces with legendary producer Youth’s energetic and experimental approach to deliver catalogue highlights "Locked Out," "Distant Sun," “Private Universe” and was another phenomenal global chart success.
After the bands breakup in 1996 and subsequent reunion in 2007, the bands fifth studio album Time On Earth followed.
2010’s Intriguer is the sixth and latest studio record from the band ionizing the commercial and artistic longevity of the group with Finn's durable song-craft shining across highlights “Saturday Sun” and “Falling Dove.”
Key 1999 compilation album Afterglow features a selection of rarities and outtakes recorded between 1985 and 1994 including “I Love You Dawn” and “Recurring Dream.” It is rightly regarded as an essential album in the catalogue and rounds out the campaign.
The entire collection is on sale from Friday November 18 and can be pre ordered individually or together as an exclusive bundle at the official Crowded House Store. Full tracklisting and images - http://bit.ly/CHTracklisting_Images.
This November, almost 20 years to the day when Crowded House said Farewell to the World with a celebrated concert held on the steps of the iconic Sydney Opera House, they return to that iconic space to celebrate their induction into the ARIA Hall Of Fame at the 2016 ARIA Awards.
Crowded House will perform two very special Encore shows exclusive to Sydney and Australia, their only appearances worldwide during 2016, on Friday, November 25 and Saturday, November 26.
Tickets for both shows will go on sale to the general public on Monday, September 26 at 10.00am.

Hello all---
Here's another update: I checked the US iTunes and Amazon stores again just now. Amazon's US store still isn't listing the 2CD deluxe releases, although the new vinyl releases are there for pre-order.
However, the US iTunes store has added pre-order options for some of the deluxe albums [Woodface, Temple, Together Alone, and Afterglow]. They list the official release date as Nov. 4, which is good. [There is a deluxe version of Intriguer listed, but it's the one from 2010 that included several "Upstairs at Home" versions of songs from the album.]
Also, I'm sure I wasn't the only one who received another email this morning from the official CH promo team. Looks like the official US store has been updated to include the complete bundle [all 7 CDs and the tote bag] as well as the individual CD deluxe sets and all the vinyl versions except TOE.

Any word on when Amazon will have the deluxe releases for pre-order?
Awaiting word from Universal. Time On Earth and Intriguer are both being released in the US on different record labels so it's taking longer to organise the US release.
So, it looks like the following are available at the US Amazon store:
Time on Earth MP3 [release date Nov. 4, 2016]
https://smile.amazon.com/Time-...475247874&sr=8-2
Still no physical release listed.

You can hear a snippet of the She Called Up demo. Interesting how slow it was originally, and how much of the piano tinklings were already there.
Yes, the bassline gives it a bit of an old Motown, classic R&B-type vibe.
For the record, the US iTunes store is listing the new deluxe versions of the following, and each includes one pre-release track available for immediate download:
- Together Alone - Private Universe (Home Demo)
- Afterglow - Instinct (Home Demo)
- Woodface - There Goes God (Home Demo) [Murchison Street version]
- Temple of Low Men - Never Be The Same (Home Demo)
- Time on Earth - She Called Up (Home Demo)
[There's a deluxe edition of Intriguer listed, but it's the one from 2010.]
