Tulsa Set List (Oct 3, 2018)

Pre-Rumours songs:

  • "Black Magic Woman"
  • "Tell Me All the Things You Do"
  • "Hypnotized"
  • "Oh Well"

Non-Fleetwood Mac songs:

  • "I Got You" - Split Enz (really the only surprise among these three)
  • "Don't Dream It's Over" - Crowded House
  • "Free Fallin'" - Tom Petty

A few surprises in the setlist.

Another review including mick’s intro to dont dream:

Immediately before Finn sang “Don’t Dream It’s Over,” Fleetwood said this: “Many years ago I heard this beautiful song and, for me, it opened many doors in my heart, so this all eventually led to this lovely gentleman sharing the stage with us in Fleetwood Mac, so make him really welcome as he sings this most beautiful song.”

Thanks for finding that, @Kiwi.

This is a bit of an unfair comment not knowing how this sits in the overall flow of the show, but I'm sad they went with such a bare bones approach. This isn't "Neil Finn playing his song with Fleetwood Mac", it's "Neil Finn playing his song with the other 5 piece band who stand in the shadows behind Fleetwood Mac". Christine didn't even play the organ. On the other hand, Stevie's verse was a very nice touch, and Neil did a fine job.

I assume I Got You was a different story, featuring everyone. But this was a little odd.

Oh, and the congas have to go.

I don't know...the Ellen performance was a bit borderline, but they sound much better here.  Comments from people who were at the show say it was fantastic and that this lineup deserves a chance.  I can see them getting really great as the tour continues.  As far as Neil he's having a great time and sounding really good, so I don't want to complain too much about his choices.
