Back in '86/'87 (?) I saw the Stephen Sondheim musical "INTO THE WOODS" here at the Old Globe Theater, on it's way to Broadway...I loved every song in it and have
memorized it backwards and forwards since then...
...but when my Dad died in '95, one lyric stood out like a beacon (from the song "NO ONE IS ALONE")...and the music is so haunting, as well...every time I hear it, it STILL makes me tear up, and brings that old familiar lump in my throat...
Sometimes people leave you Halfway through the wood...Look, I'm crying just TYPING it...sheesh...
(TOTALLY OFF-TOPIC: Geddy, I started BLACKWOOD FARM this week, too!!!
