My dog Robbie (God rest his doggy soul) got ahold of my copy in 1995 which I had been reading outdoors...it now has a major ripped cover, doggy teeth marks, and warping. But still 100% readable! Wouldn't expect to get much on eBay for it considering its condition, and actually it's a little reminder of the doggy that I lost at 19 months!
Hang onto it Demon and cherish it, because those sorts of things are special reminders of someone or something much loved. Plus which he's made it a unique edition for you
I didn't pay $148.00 for mine, but I think mine was up around the $70 mark, and I didn't hesitate because I wanted the book
I would have preferred the signed copy; I think that one was in better condition too, at least the blurb read as though it was.
Ebay can be expensive, especially when you find its something that lots of others want to get their grubbies on too. There's always someone with more money and less common sense than you
That combination generally adds up to mean that you miss out
Still, you only have to pay for it once, and I've been back through mine over and over so it was worth it. Sometimes I just flick through looking at the pictures
I've never regretted the outlay.
