Can everyone just forgive me now when I start stuffing up names, I'm a total shocker. I already stuff it up with my son and brother when we're all together !! Yup no hope. You'll all be maaaaaaaate !! LOL

Ummmm...I'll be in Brissie, but sadly Kiers won't be there. Frowner I really wish she was going to be there, and Seany too! Frowner

Shaani is welcoming me though! Frenz are great! The best! Big Grin
*Quote* "So who's getting excited?" *Unquote*

Me! Me! Me! I am! I am!

...Fizzy.

PS: Mind you, I'm getting nervous too, but that could be just me. LOL

"Conflicting emotions" and all that. LOL.
I can't wait to see it but at the same time I don't want it to happen so fast, cos that means it'll be over quicker.

Definitely!! Songs that will require the most tissues:

I Hope I Never
Semi Detached
Bon Voyage
Stuff & Nonsense

Erm.... Big Kev??? The only Big Kev I know is a Neighbours character!!

Ok, who's the wise guy! Big Grin

Yes, Big Kev. He sold cleaning products, & was pretty excited about it. There's a pic of him
here.
Don't know the Big Kev from Neighbours? You don't mean Toady? Aka, The toadster.

Why not just use the tea-towels instead of the tissues? I'm going to get a couple of tea-towels just in case they play *sniffle* Bon Voyage. *sob*. Apparently it's French for 'cleaning product'.

Just don't tell Nana, ok. Smiler
I'm no wise guy, I just have a small frame of reference! And I'm blond.... Wink

And Big Kev from Neighbours is the Toadsters dad, but I don't think he knows what a tea towel looks like, let alone any kind of cleaning products!
He's also not very big, so no, I don't think they are related!! Big Grin

Your french is improving rapidly though Seany! I am impressed! Big Grin
Ques Ques Say? Confused
Silver plate, mercy bucket, ess carget.
Polly view french-fry.
Avec la leave-ray.
Scuse em-oia.
Ler Sore-bun. (pauses to twirl moustache).

Oh, Toady's dad. Right, gotcha. Had no idea Neighbours was big in Denmark. Eeker

What was this thread about again?
Oh, excitement. Je suis surmonté avec l'excitation. Je peux à peine continuer.
Or as they might say on Neighbours in Denmark.
Ja, ben ik opgewekt. Erm, i don't think excited translates too well in Danish. Ooops.
Ik ben zeer gelukkig om te gaan Gespleten Enz zien. Nope. Same again.

Ik ben gelukkig? That's French for "Just a latte thanks".
Seany, you've really outdone yourself this time!! I actually am lost for words- no punz intended (but a nice coincidence Wink)

You write Danish better than most people over here... (I wonder why?? Big Grin) Not sure if I'd translate Split Enz though!! Wink

Excited and happy in this case mean the same thing: gelukkig. So, Double Happy I guess!! Wink

Although I'm still wondering about your Double Heureux signature from a while back.....
Tracy if I think you're staying where you are in Bris you'll be surrounded by Frenz or members of OTS. If you see other excited people at your hotel say hello to them.
Oh, that is reassuring to know. It's my parrot actually. Danish Blue. Comes out with all manner of phrases. Must have belonged to Guus at some point perhapse. Always squarking for the Fiords. Big Grin Only joking. I had a parrot, but it flew away. Little wonder, after hearing my French! Eeker Mon dieu.

Erm, Double Heureux was my poor French for Double Happy, the Split Enz song (instrumental actually), but it seems more like very bad latin now that you mention it. Frowner Latin for "throw him to the truffles?". Although it sounds like a character from an Asterix comic. Big Grin What with all this excitement, cest rediculouix, oui? Smiler
Non, au contraire, c'est merveilleux! Maybe your parrot flew away because of his love for fashion??? Or maybe he just needed a shower!!! Eeker

You should never have let him go, if he belonged to Guus he could have told you all you needed to know about the off-side rule, and some other intersting Danish words!!

About getting excited... I can't even think straight anymore, so I started to make lists....but where are they???? Confused
What's all this about Danish??? Confused You'll give people the wrong idea.

Not sure if I'd translate Split Enz though!!

Oh, I don't know... I think 'Gespleten Puntjes' has quite a nice ring to it. Wink
Ask Seany about the Danish !! Big Grin Big Grin

Mrs HP, they were called 'kruidnootjes'. Wink And they are only available before Sinterklaas, which is on December 5. Please don't make me explain.... I had to do that at customs at Sydney airport and everyone was in stitches, but it's really not that strange is it?? I mean, a man on the roof on a white horse who (the man, not the horse) throws pressies down the chimney, right in your shoes?? What's weird about that?? Roll Eyes

So if we could persuade the Enz to do a few more shows in December, and I win the lottery in the meantime..... I'll bring you some more!!

If I have recovered from all the excitement of this tour that is.... I leave..... THE DAY AFTER TOMORROW!!!!

Nothing at all... If you're Dutch anyway.
That's DUTCH, Seany. DUTCH!!!

Hey! We blondes need to stick together. Save some of those sweets for Sydney (no sugar cubes or oats for Horsey if she eats them all)!

I leave the day after the day after tomorrow!

So the iPod shuffle is fast becoming my enemy. Taken by surprise on the train in the morning by random Enz-ness, I'm starting to twitch, giggle and make strange noises.

I blame Neil. Big Grin

And Suus, it wasn't the kruidnootjes, it was the borstplaat! (Did I spell that right?)

Horsey likes sugar. Razzer

Hee,hee, I've been doing this in the middle of the night when I can't sleep! Or when I'm making one of many lists. Need to get some organization to my brain. I tend to sit around in states of stupor.

I blame Neil. Big Grin

Yes, and yes!

Sorry, I was listening to The Living Enz on (too) high volume!

I blame Neil. Big Grin
Aww, poor Neil. He is getting the blame for an awful lot today, isn't he?
What can I say? Neil, it's all your fault!!
Wow! Sus & Mag can sleep in Spanish and Danish! Does that make it go any quicker? How about just plain old bad English like we use here in the States *shrugs*

I gots me 2 sleeps to departure y'all Wink 8, I think until my 1st gig! I have no concept of time once I leave U.S. airspace! Confused I think it causes me to have one less sleep Big Grin

*tosses sugar cubes to Horsey* Save me some of those sweets ladies!
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I leave tomorrow morning.

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Huh? How come I have 3 sleeps to departure? I am confused. Confused

Oh course, in reality I am really getting no sleeps at all! Too much to think...too much to do!! Big Grin
There's a reason I went to law school, I CANNOT DO MATH! UGH!!!! 3 sleeps Frowner However, I don't think I can sleep at all at this point! So excited, I do not even know what day it is and I say "danish" inappropriately Confused

*sonic BOOM of excitement*
Bounes dias Denmark, & here are the votes.....
oh, sorry.

Mag, it's a long story about the Danish thing, but lets just say i made a faux pas-de-deaux & haven't been able to live it down since. Frowner Although it's a bit hard when people keep reminding me, but i "get it" now.
The Dutch do not speak Danish, but Spanish & French apparently. Cest Fantastique por favor.

I'm intrigued by the man on the white horse whome, clomps on the roof-tops whilst dropping presents down a chimney into pairs of shoes though! Eeker
Are the shoes stratigically placed in the fire-place for this purpose? Or is it a case of pot-luck re the shoes? His name isn't Alf is it?

2 out of every 3 dentists warn that consumption of kruidnootjes, & borstplaat can lead to tooth decay. Smiler

Does anyone speak Strain?
Stone tha flamin' crows, i'm as excited as a cattle dog with it's head out tha winda of a ute, flyin' down the Hume at 100.
Just off ta have a voi boi & a 4 n 20 with Bazza & Shazza. Then it'll be back to the shearin, although i'd much prefer the Sherrin, he he he.
Strewth, which pub were the Enz playin' at again? Was it the Bib,Brace, & Work-boot Hotel?
