In case anyone is interested, someone has a Radio clippings CD on Ebay

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=...item=4032064757&rd=1

They are going for 8.99 including shipping and though some may bawk at that price, I can tell you that I have been putting a lot of time and effort into making a CD of the stuff I've caught and I can appreciate why he is charging that. Of course, if he sells 20 of them, he'll be laughing but Ebay is always a gamble.

I notice he doesn't have the Gary Crowley which does make me wonder if he's grabbed all of these from the net, in which case they will not be as good quality as they might be.

All that said, when I have a moment to sort out all the Ken Bruce stuff, I shall make a CD for Paul and the other person who contacted me - and I'll do it for the love Big Grin

.....oh and there is also the Heart FM tomorrow - I'll have to include that too!

But the only effort this person appears to have done is a few mouse clicks to download everything:

From the auction:
All songs are in MP3 or RM format and come with details of the appearances, track listings and photos
So that'll be mp3s downloaded from the Jane ftp, and photos nicked from threads here. Nice.

I'd suggest that everyone here who's registered with ebay report and stop this, because it's all available for free. I just have...
Hi, first posting. I've got Gary Crowley on my hard drive. It's not that exciting, no live music, just the bros. chatting between songs. And i lost count of the number of times GC used "you know". At least one per sentence, then i noticed Tim and Neil using it too. I think they were taking the P.
I could make it available on WinMX if that suits anyone? What's the protocol about this kinda thing? Don't want to infringe anyone's rights.
Mark
Markian!! HOW did you get it on your hard drive? I didn't think it was streamed because of the Olympics ( or somesuch reason).

I have found many of the radio interviewers rather irritating this time around, but it's good to hear the guys rise above it. The repetitious speak ticks are one thing but I'm really angered when they clearly are not listening to the carefully considered answer given by Neil or Tim, and demostrate it by asking them something that they have elloquantly covered seconds earlier.

End of Rant Big Grin

I messed up about Heart last weekend - it's THIS weekend. I shall gather all the bits together and make a couple of lists of what I have tomorrow.
I live in the London area, so listened on FM, and i have my hi-fi connected to my PC. I then open an audio recording device and save it as MP3 or whatever format.
I will make it available on WinMX if that's okay, and title it GCEIH, so if you search for that you should find it.
Crowley was guilty of all you mentioned but (I think) he is a real fan. He was certainly at Regent's Park as i saw him with a hero of mine, Chris Difford.
Cheers for now,
Mark
