Back in the 80's PJ released his first solo album Private Lives. I have the vinyl but not a record player. I discovered it got a CD release later on, but would rather buy tracks online than hunt down a physical copy. Does anyone know why it's not available online for download? OR if it ever will be?

I have no idea, but if it doesn't contravene international peace treaties, I'd be happy to send you a thumb drive containing the MP3s, and have you forward the $15? to Phil personally...
I seem to recall Phil floating the idea of some form of re-issue of Private Lives a couple of years ago, but it didn't go anywhere, and may have just been a rumour from someone else, not Phil directly. I'd be surprised to see it resurface, given its niche appeal, but since the Schnells albums are available on most streaming libraries (Spotify etc), I guess you never know...
Well, lets hope Private Lives never finds its way onto Spotify, the fifth horseman of the apocalypse..
My offer stands... I'd be happy to seek Phil's approval to provide a copy of Private Lives to anyone, if fair payment was directed to Phil himself...
Well thanks Aka O Tiramisu for that good news, if he does that would be awesome. Niche market maybe, but who knows? Hope he considers it again.
Ask and ye shall receive (eventually) - 'Private Lives' is now available on Phil's Bandcamp page as a digital download! http://philjudd.bandcamp.com/album/private-lives-1982
