I recently discovered a great website, where you can display your art (visual and written) and get feedback. It's all free, though a premium membership is available for a fee.
I've got a heap of digital art and a few poems up there. There are quite a few pics of Tim, all of which I've posted on this forum over the years, though most of them can no longer be seen on here. Only 1 of Neil,I'm afraid. At the time I was doing it, I made a request for some decent photos, but didn't get any.
You can check it all out at:

I would liken you

To a night without stars

Were it not for your eyes

To a sleep without dreams

Were it not for your songs (Langston Hughes)

What else is love for

But to leave you wanting more? (Tim Finn)

My Digital Art, Poetry & Lyrics

Original Post

Not bumping for the sake of bumping, but I've finished uploading the images, poetry and lyrics that used to be on my personal website prior to the closure of geocities. That is, the ones I can still look at without cringing. Some of them I cannot believe I ever aired in public. There was this one time I went to see Tim on the central coast of NSW. It was the end of the gig and he was saying, "Thankyou, Kincumber!" Then he looked right at me and said, "Thankyou, New Zealand!" (he recognised me from a recent gig in Auckland.) I went home and wrote the gushiest most emotional song, cringe is not the word! It will never again see the light of day! At least I can look at it years later and once I've finished cringing, remember how it felt.

Anyways, please do have a look at my collection. I've added the link to my sig now.

You're perfectly right. My parents (who were both PHDs in literature, not that that means anything) couldn't stand a popular poet named Helen Steiner Rice, because they found her sentimental and clichéd. My aunty loved her and I'm sure that Steiner Rice has sold more books than my parents ever will.

Look at some of the drivel that passes for lyrics in the current music scene! There really is no accounting for taste.

I've just added a photography folder to my Deviant Art gallery. All but 1 are taken in New Zealand. It's quite amazing when one looks at a photo that's years old and remembers the precise moment it was taken. I don't call myself a photographer. The only cameras I've owned have been phone cams. I'm disappointed that the pics I took in Arrowtown weren't of sufficient quality to upload. I remember saying to a member of security, "Wow, this place is so beautiful!" as I walked the borders of the vineyard, snapping away.

Now just to make things interesting, the 1st person to pick the precise location of the image below gets a print of their choice from my entire gallery. For those not familiar, I have 2 pics of Neil and way too many of Tim in my digital art folder. Obsessed fans of the world unite! We have nothing to lose but our credibility.
