Ooooh I'm feeling all jingly and sparkly and festive......pass the bubbly and the mince pie!

The presents are wrapped, the cards are posted, the tree is sparkling and the kids are worked up into a frenzy (despite my eldest finally confronting me with the is there or isn't there a santa question.......I cried, he didn't).

Looking forward to a frenz merch filled stocking.......

Oh yes, and it's good to be back Razzer
Wink Thank you for the lovely wishes, Gav! Have a wonderful trip back home! Wink And might I wish everyone a wonderful holiday as well...considering the state of the world, let's all pull those we treasure close to our hearts and TELL them how much we love them...cherish each memory and moment... I work for a homecare pharmacy, and our patients are children. One of the families sent us a Christmas card and this was enclosed. Indulge me if you will, and "God" can mean whatever "God" means to you!

A Meditation For The New Year

God won't ask what kind of car you drove, but He'll ask how many people you drove who didn't have transportation.

God won't ask the square footage of your home, but He'll ask how many people you welcomed into it.

God won't ask how many clothes you had in your closet, but He'll ask how many you helped to clothe.

God won't ask about your social status, but He'll ask what kind of class you displayed.

God won't ask how many material possessions you had, but He'll ask if they dictated your life.

God won't ask what your highest salary was, but He'll ask if you compromised your character to obtain it.

God won't ask how many promotions you received, but He'll ask how you promoted others.

God won't ask what you did to help yourself, but He'll ask what you did to help others.

God won't ask how many friends you had, but He'll ask how many people to whom you were a friend.

God won't ask what you did to protect your rights, but He'll ask what you did to protect the rights of others.

God won't ask in what neighborhood you lived, but He'll ask how you treated your neighbors.

God won't ask about the color of your skin, but He'll ask about content of your character.

God won't ask how many times your deeds matched your words, but He'll ask how many times they didn't.

As New Year's resolutions are made, keep this meditation in your mind.

Cheers to you all!

Nollaig Shona Dhuit everyone.

I'm off back home to God's Own Country now, so I won't be around for a bit.

Hope you all have a wonderful Christmas.
See you in the New Year.

Much love,
Siren x

PS - couldn't resist this one:

Do you know what would have happened if it had been the Three Wise Women instead of Three Wise Men?

They would have:

Asked directions,
Arrived on time,
Helped deliver the baby,
Cleaned the stable,
Made a casserole,
Brought practical gifts,

There would be Peace On Earth. Wink
