Every decade or so I like to go on National Television and try my luck on a quiz show. This time I applied for ‘Mastermind Australia’. My specialist subject was Crowded House and my episode airs tomorrow night (Tuesday) at 6pm on SBS (or SBS on Demand shortly after).
For overseas Frenz, unsure if you can access SBS on Demand.

I am interested to know your result. How did you do ?
I came second overall. My specialist round I got 14 out of 15 correct. My final score was 21 but I was up against a force of nature who scored 27.
I managed to watch the Crowded House segment just now from France (on the SBS website using a VPN... episode 37 of season 5 in case anyone else is trying to find it). Well done Stuart!
As an aside, I've often wondered if there are any other Crowded House fans working in the financial services industry. Glad I'm not the only one.
Dare I ask , what was the specialist question you got wrong ?
Where can we watch it in NZ? Is it on YouTube maybe?

It was the mangling of the pronunciation of the film ‘Irma La Douce’. The film which served as the reference to the naming of the ‘Hole In The River’.
I knew the answer, just said it wrong.
Congratulations on doing so well! I haven’t seen the episode, but doubt I would have answered as many correctly.
