It's a long shot, but does anyone know if the two EPs LLT released in 1997/1998 are available?

Absolutely not sadly.... the E.P.'s only had a limited release really around the LLT shows and through Frenz of the Enz... I would have suspected they would have been available through some Melbourne record stores at the time too. Other than that a couple of different songs have showed up on the club fundraisers I Like It Rare discs and one track on Other Enz 2 CD set.... and that's about your lot! The last item is the only thing really readily available with an Australasian release. It would be good to get some kind of release of the Largest Living Things (according to Gryphon there is enough material of quality for a fine double CD!) but I just can't see it happening any time soon.
there's a track called get it on ( not a t rex cover) that was on a compilation cd, which is a great hessie solo track
Cool, do you know where I could find the compilation/song?
yes there are ways
Get It On???? I've heard Get Involved by Largest Living Things..... which compilation CD is this?
The compilation album is called "lullaby and goodnight" and features not only Paul but some other artists that have worked with the Finns such as Paul Kelly, Venetta Fields (vocals on Tim's Escapade) and Joe Camilleri (sax on Escapade) as well as Paul's friends Richard Pleasance (of Boom Crash Opera) and John Clifforth. It was released in 1996.
New one on me this - Thanks for the information. See it's listed as Paul Hester... this was around the time the Largest Living Things was sort of disappearing as Paul was starting to record his solo album.
I thought LLT hadn't even formed in 1996 and were drifting apart starting in 2000 or 2001.

Sorry my fault - I didn't read it properly... I assumed it was later... this is certainly Paul's first released solo track then. LLT definitely existed in 1996 as My Time Is Now from the Other Enz CD (which is the most available LLT tune) states it was recorded then.
I recently noticed that Not Drowning Waving released a live album on bandcamp that as far as I know was never a cd release. It made me wonder whether there is a chance we may see Largest Living Things appear on bandcamp as high quality downloads. Even seeing LLT available on itunes would be great. I'm suggesting the 2 EP's and maybe a collection of rare and/or unreleased stuff. A collection of live music from Hessie's Shed or even the short lived Mick Molloy show could even make the cut? I ask you Frenz, how do we make this happen?

I just picked up this CD, and was curious where I've heard Get It On previously. Did it make an appearance anywhere else? Maybe I found it via our friend Jane? It sounds familiar ... thanks for any help.
