Go your own way

Keen to see the full vid of this - final couple of mins of neil leading go your own way. Looks quite promising - but this was a lindsay buckingham special... old timer fleetwood mac fans had speculated the song had been retired after he was booted given it was written about stevie... might draw some reax from them

He does ;-) A friend of mine (big FM fan) likes the - quote - "happy spaniel vibes" Neil seems to have injected into the band. Stevie and Mick certainly smile a lot.

Anyone else think that Neil's "performing" somewhat more than usual? (Jumping, gestures, going on his knees etc.)

There was a sizeable amount of feedback after the Ellen Show and iHeart performance about how Neil didn't bring the intensity and energy of Lindsey. Of course, they are two different people with different styles but I suspect that management asked Neil to bring up the intensity a bit.

It seems like about 10% more stage antics than he tended to do with Crowded House. Going on his knees, bouncing over to the drummer and other members, etc is not new for him, but kind of seems that way since he’s tended to be more subdued with his non-CH stuff. Some stuff is new (to me) like when he snaps his wrist into a pointing gesture right on a drum break. He may be the only member who *can* give that kind of energy. Stevie does a lot of gesturing and posing and mic work and she’s good at it, but she walks like she has bad knees or something. (Not meant as a knock, many do at her age)

Mike Campbell is awfully casual and moves slowly when he moves at all, so if management were giving notes I think he missed the memo.

His general demeanour reminds me of the CH tour 2007/08, but more of it.

I like it when you throw some shade He is a bit boring to watch compared to the others; it's probably just not his thing.

Yes, I noticed that. At first I thought it was because he's happy, as many people are saying. Then I began to wonder if he's trying just a bit too hard to convince himself this was actually a good idea. He does appear to be having a blast though, and it's great to see him belting out again.
