I'm at the point where I'm just thrilled that any of my favorite musicians are continuing to create new music and/or tour. We just purchased tickets to see ELO, Finnwood Mac, and Rosanne Cash and I'm beyond happy that these acts continue to tour even when they technically don't need to at this point. I just hope that Neil continues to follow his muse wherever that takes him whether it's solo, Crowded House, Finn Brothers, or whatever.
If Crowded House are finished, I'm just going to borrow Ian Brown's words when he referred to the reunion of The Stone Roses: "don't be sad that it's finished. Just be happy that you saw it happen."
As someone who was far too young to appreciate Crowded House in the 1990s or even attend a gig of theirs, I was glad I got to see them when finally did. I even got to see Paul in his final ever performance with Neil and Tim when they played The Palais.
