Revoked

See the leaders that eat well
While the rest of us starve
When the pressure consumes us
Don’t give up cos it’s hard
Never fall for religion
A tax dodging farce
Bloodied bones of my fingers
For skeleton rewards

Revoked
There’s still things we don’t know
Forgot about knowledge
Just can’t let this one go
Revoked
We’re all in on the joke
Near sighted outrage
Left you all on your own

The sheep & the shepherds
Leaning right & absurd
See the carefree & crazy
Mount the left sided kerb
The young think like goldfish
Now 3 seconds is too slow
The common sense center
Never get seats to the show

Revoked
There’s still things we don’t know
Forgot about knowledge
Just can’t let this one go
Revoked
We’re all in on the joke
Near sighted outrage
Left you all on your own

Prices rise beyond the wage
Life keeps fighting everyday
I’m glad you can just move along with yours
Show no care with what you say
Workers will just have to pay
I wish we could stop listening to you all

Revoked x2

You’ve set forth a mission
That’s seeing crime rise
You’re all acting like children
While children keep dying
Is it spiteful & evil
Or incompetent minds
But if you must find offense
Go buy a ladder & climb

Revoked
There’s still things we don’t know
Forgot about knowledge
Just can’t let this one go
Revoked
We’re all in on the joke
Near sighted outrage
Left you all on your own

Revoked
Some things we should know
Used up your chances
But it’s all your own fault
Revoked
We all laughed at the joke
Militant outrage
Now you’re cold & alone

Revoked

“Cuts Through The Years” is the new single from Bevan Mical.

It was inspired by the line “Walking round the room singing stormy weather” from the classic Crowded House song “Weather With You”.

Bevan says “Everybody has something that blocks their goals & this song is about getting your own thoughts in order so that nothing can get in the way of whatever you want to achieve”.

It will be releasing with an alternate version “Cuts Through The Years (The Bakery Recipe)” which was crafted out of kindness by New Zealand music legend Brian Baker.

“Cuts Through The Years” & “Cuts Through The Years (The Bakery Recipe)”  will be available on all major platforms on 11/11/22.
