Interesting seeing so much Egypt Station love, apart from Despite Repeated Warnings I found it his least enjoyable in quite a while.

Honorable mention should go to 2 albums released at the end of last year but which I've played a lot this year:

...and 2 records released in the last few years but which I only discovered this year and have played the hell out of:

We Were Wild - Esme Patterson (2016)

Split Figure - Line & Circle (2015).
