It was an amazing surprise. I rarely use device number two, which alerted it was beginning now, when I picked it up. I phoned just about everyone I care for, to let them know to tune in.

to make sure you dont miss out when he performs, you can switch on notifications on the MixIr app that you're listening on and u get a note when he goes live ... perfectly reliable and a perfect excuse to drop everything and turn it on

It's great he's doing this,  however, working at home and taking care of kids had made me miss this twice even though I was aware of it. Neil's music is huge bright spot for me and I would really appreciate it if we were able to view the shows when we are able. I hope he would archive these. It would mean a lot to the fans that couldn't see it.

during yesterday's chat several people asked Neil to archive the recent broadcasts, which Neil did take notice of so fingers crossed ... meanwhile, as far as the March 19th broadcast, there's this little Belgian bird released whistling it was recorded   ... I'll keep you posted as soon as it's available

Can anyone fix that?

I am loving waking up in the morning getting ready and hearing Neil’s music live from LA. Unfortunately I will miss a few due to School, so I hope and pray Neil will publish each one so I can catch up. 😄

Worth catching live if you can because the sound quality of the live broadcast seems to be a lot better than the archived versions.  Listened to a couple of the archived versions and the sound was compressed and distorted, whereas the live broadcasts sound terrific.

I do the same 👍🏻 It's bedtime here when they're on, which is a perfect conclusion. The dog left the room yesterday with a disgusted look during Message to my Girl, but I don't know whether it was my singing or Neil's creative piano playing.

The archived audio is the same 192kbs stereo mp3 quality as the live stream. Until a few days ago, Neil was simply using the built in mic on his MacBook Pro. But now Liam has rigged up decent microphones and a mixer.

The sound from the last few has been really good. And the more lo-fi ones were charming, they're just people stuck at home crowding around a laptop with a guitar, in the way most of us currently are. Very lucky that he already had a routine for this... the broadcasts have been a nice diversion. The other day I grabbed a bass and played a long for a bit. The internet enables some fun moments.
