How about you?

I see the presale for Amsterdam now too. But indeed a password is needed... ;-((

This is so frustrating!

Hope PG is reading the forum as sons as he's awake and helps us out!

Yeah, I agree with joepert. I'm not going to be held to ransom by Music Glue in order to get first dibs on the tickets, it isn't how I want to purchase the record.

It's great that we can get a Frenz presale link but the commodification of music and music shows is really starting to take the edge off the whole experience for me.

Think I'll just wait for tomorrow and take my chances. I'm sure there will be tickets available on Friday is that's how it pans out.

Not the fault of Neil or Frenz - just the way the whole thing is going, sadly.

I bought the LP via Amazon, as Neil points to them as well on his site. Previously I received e-mails from Amazon if a pre-sale was held after buying a record with them.
I have to say I was not in the knowledge a pre-sale was held for record buyers at all!

Why not combine it with the fanclub pre-sale? As if fanclub members don't buy (1 or more copies of) the record? :-/

I think the whole music & ticket buying experience in general is getting v bad I wholly appreciate all what Peter does for us all his v hard work etc & this pre sale before presale is cruel & unfair in general. Peter does stellar work for us Frenz & i for one am grateful
all these buy from us / sign with us links etc & its the same with 02 they offer out presales before others  it should be one presale for true fans then general release & no third party ticket offers from the likes of get me in

Well said Alkady.  God forbid that any of this cock-up should reflect on Peter and his energy and commitment to fans.

ANDY K - lots of people say they love you but they have absolutely NO IDEA how much this work-skiving muppet loves you

You may find that better tickets become available later in the week. They don't necessarily become available all at the same time. If you can't get access to a different pre-sale, try Friday morning when they go on general. You'd be surprised...

€70 per ticket (including fees) is very expensive imo. He's bringing an entire orchestra with him or what?

Seriously: any news yet what his touring band will be?

Joepert, I also was "impressed" by te ticket price for Amsterdam. I'm afraid though this is a very Dutch problem I experienced more often...

It's Mojo and Carré that influence the price, apart from the fee Neil's agency is charging them. If Neil plays the same week in Germany for 30  and in Belgium for €45, you are able to calculate what the "Dutch influence" is for ticket prices.

I go to concerts in Antwerp every now and then as a substitute for Rotterdam or Amsterdam. Not only better ticket prices, the audience is much more relaxed and friendly too! And it's a good excuse for a day trip. ;-)

I just paid £150 each for The Eagles and Monty Python Live tickets...

Still, £45-ish is only €55, so that does sound high.

I did pre-order the CD to get the code & then discovered I was away for those dates (gutted!) but out of curiosity logged in for tickets first thing & was offered Row D but not central...& this afternoon I was offered rear stalls CC.

Now I don't believe all the seats from A - CC have sold today for the London gig, otherwise there's going to be many disgruntled people in the fan club who really should have had first dibs.

Pre-sales are becoming a bit of a frustrating joke & I wonder sometimes if its to try & sell less popular seating areas (i.e. no central).

For instance I got tickets for Amos Lee at the same venue, pre sale offered seats in rear stalls at 10am when it opened, I rang the next day when general sale started & got central front stalls in about the 5th row.

To have some many different pre-sales each day is ridiculous & disheartening.

How a situation arose where loyal fan club members were not allowed access at the same time as those who just 'pre-ordered a cd' is very disappointing indeed.

i whole heartedly agree!!

At last managed to enter a password (thanks Andy)  and booked myself a second row (best available) seat for Amsterdam. Had problems with the ticket site and/or internet all day. I could see the enter code message but was not able to enter anything. Finally it did. Happy now.

btw got an email from the promotor in the Netherlands telling me about a special presale as I had purchased CH tickets with this emailadress.

Having set off for meetings at 6am today, only just had chance to try pre-sale. Ticket price rules me out of attending more than one gig unless, by some miracle, there's still some tickets left after Christmas. Can only get balcony for London, nothing for Manchester & down side for Gateshead. Will try again in the morning, by which time I may have decided which one I actually want to go to!

For tomorrows fanclub presale no password is needed.

Totally agree the whole cd thing has been a pain in the ar$e.  Just added massive workload, makes people panic and in the end the codeword can end up everywhere.

Tickets however are split down the middle so fanclub presale so seats should be as good, a lot depends on how many people bought today I guess...and some venues are more popular then others. Did I say how much I hate presales (you can guess what it's like at our end today).
