My mistake, I should have remembered that it was a fan club release. I am 90% sure it is the Fillmore show from San Francisco, which would have been July 15, 1996.

The entire show can be found on somethingsofinn.com, but the CD itself has the tracklist as follows. It is a really good show, esp. at the end when Neil does I Got You on the ukulele.

Only Talking Sense
Eyes Of The World
Angels Heap
There Goes God
Four Seasons In One Day
Suffer Never
Where Is My Soul
Niwhai
Mood Swinging Man
Chocolate Cake
How Will You Go
Last Day Of June
Message To My Girl
I Got You (Ukulele version)
Famous Rock Riffs from History on the Ukulele
Paradise (Wherever You Are)
No it's not the Filmore show, it's taken from all over the place. There was a companion volume released through the club called Mood Swinging Men. One of them has an early version of Astro on it, the other has as a hidden track a very embryonic version of the verse to King Tide.
As I said, it's not the Fillmore show, and the above is not the track list of the cd. Below is the track list of the cd:

Poor Boy (Park West Chicago 12/7/96)
Dirty Creature (John Anson Ford Theatre LA 17/7/96)
In Love With It All (Union Chapel London 16/11/95
Angels Heap (Union Chapel London 16/11/95
There Goes God (Union Chapel London 16/11/95
Kiss The Road of Raratonga (Renfrew Ferry Glasgow 15/11/95)
How Will You Go (Renfrew Ferry Glasgow 15/11/95)
Weather With You (Renfrew Ferry Glasgow 15/11/95)
Sweet Dreams (John Anson Ford Theatre LA 17/7/96)
Persuasion (Union Chapel London 16/11/95
History Never Repeats/King Tide (Union Chapel London 16/11/95
Last Day of June (Park West Chicago 12/7/96)
Message to my Girl (Park West Chicago 12/7/96)
Charlie (Union Chapel London 15/11/95
Eyes of the World (Civic Theatre Newcastle Aus 20/2/96)
It's Only Natural (Civic Theatre Newcastle Aus 20/2/96)
I was just thinking, ... Playing By Ear is the exact same thing as Mood Swinging Men then, since it has the early version of Astro on it. Strange that it could be known as two different names.

That being said, everything makes more sense now.

Indeed it is a great song.

I believe it's also been referred to as Into The Water.

Hey there Wigwan (or anyone that maybe able to help me!)... I'm currently ripping all my live stuff to my hard drive... it's already one massive database! But I can't seem to work out (or find anywhere) the exact date or location of each track on the above fanclub CD. Not sure if it was somewhere in the linear notes... my collection is all over the place! It's good to know that 6 were recorded in Sydney... but which ones? Mite you (or anyone for that matter) be able to type out or direct me to a list of the exact date and location each track was performed? Thanks in advance.

@Paul H, you are an absolute legend. Appreciate you doing this. My live albums spreadsheet discography thanks you immensely.

Interesting that of the four Finn Brothers fanclub CDs released between 1998 and 2004 that only Belvoir was a complete show, where as the others were effectively compilations made up of between six and eight shows from various shows.

I don't suppose you know the origin of Four Seasons In One Day from Mood Swinging Men? I'm aware of the details of all the other tracks. Promise it won't take me two years to thank you!

Thank you! Same show as Mary of the South Seas and Niwhai were taken from then. Not sure why I hadn't documented that correctly.

Might have to send you through a copy of my own live albums discography once I've completed it. Not suggesting it'll hold a candle to yours, but it's been a great reference for me so far. I'm able to include much more information than what I was using a basic folder / file structure.

Even better!

Having dug through my collection of fanclub CDs I was unable to find Live In America (recorded during the Try Whistling This tour in 1998) which I could have sworn I had. Perhaps I was getting it confused with Live in the UK? Anyway, I don't suppose you know the source of those songs? Even its year of release would be great.

And I know it's a long shot, but you wouldn't happen to know the source of the tracks from Spooky Vibrations would you? I never managed to get a physical copy of that one, but the file I have is not split up into separate tracks, which makes me think that's how it might have been released. Even if you know the source of some of the nine actual songs on it that would be great.

Amazing @Paul H, thank you once again!

Never realised the source of the material from Spooky Vibrations was included in the linear notes. Also appreciate the correction re: the Dublin show, as well as the other notes you have.

I just split up my Spooky Vibrations file into 22 separate tracks, and am thus now able to name each individual track correctly, edit the ID3 tags and place them in separate folders within the Spooky Vibrations folder itself. The only downside is that my source was a 128Kbps MP3.

Forget Who You Are

Recorded at the State Theatre, Sydney, Australia on February 18, 1996

Are you sure you have the correct date for this? It seems odd that the other 21 songs were recorded between September 1991 and December 1993, yet one from 1996 was tacked on.

Setlist FM also lists no Crowded House concert on that date, as Neil was touring with Tim around that time.

In fact The Finn Brothers were playing a show at the Sydney State Theatre on that exact date, which I'm guessing this song must be from?

If that's the case, it still seems a bit odd (but not impossible) that a Finn Brothers song would end up on what is a Crowded House fanclub album.

Having said that, Setlist FM doesn't list Forget Who You Are in that Finn Brothers show's setlist, perhaps because it was only short at 1:12?

Then again the backing vocals on that song do sound a bit like Tim.

I might also be worth mentioning that Crowded House played at the Sydney State Theatre on March 18th 1992, which spans the timeframe of tracks on this release. Any chance Forget Who You Are was from this show?
