G'day all from Emerald, QLD - Australia.

I still think my signature reads Charleville... or maybe Melbourne, I'll have to change that cause now I do radio overnights in Emerald.

Anyway (to the point), was looking thru our music database this morning during my shift and noticed that Even A Child was added on Monday to our Heritage (read AM or AC/Gold Music Stations) network of stations.

That most likely means it's been the single selected to be serviced to radio.

I doubt it will be a single for sale, but you never know.

Anyway Macquarie Regional Radioworks is the biggest regional radio network in Oz, so I would expect Even A Child will get a run officially in the next one or two weeks.

I say officially cause I gave it a run this morning! Eeker

In the previous singles Don't Stop Now got a fair old flogging across the board, and She Called Up was mainly afternoons only.

So yeah, Evan A Child is at radio now by the look of it - so get on the phone and start requesting it.
Frenz Radio - It will be back one day... just not sure when!

Have you seen a promo CD for this? If you have, can you provide all of the gory detail?

Sadly I haven't seen a Promo CD and most likely won't. Because were part of a network, all the music for our North & central QLD stations get decided by Townsville - so all CDs, etc... go there.

The just add the music to all the stations computers and send us the daily "to play" schedule. I'm lucky on overnights (the one of a few very rare left in this country!) that my show is request based for the Miners - so when it's slow/quiet I get to select the music Smiler

By the way Promo CDs are going the way of the dodo bird anyway. Music Directors at radio stations/networks now log onto musicpoint.com.au were they have a secure log-in and they download the music - goodbye CD technology!

Sadly, it seems true. Rumors are Universal Music (USA) will cease servicing physical product in March '08 and go exclusively with digital distribution to media outlets. If/when this happens, it will most likely kill the secondary markets where physical product is sought my collectors.
