"Saturday Morning with Jack Tame"
Newstalk ZB, Publish Date Sat, 6 Mar 2021, 1:08PM

Jack: What's the planning ... once you hit the road and you're able to perform live concerts hopefully very shortly .. am I right in thinking a world tour was the original plan ?
Neil: Yeah, well we were supposed to be touring last year in Europe in June/July ... that was put forward to this year June/July but unfortunately that's NOT going to make it .. we're hopeful of August in the US .. they're still saying they're thinking maybe it's possible .. but, you know, we're not counting our chickens and eventually we will tour the world again when it's safe to do so and very excited about making/taking this record on the road 'cause it's a really up kind of sounding record .. we've been rehearsing it and the songs are sounding really terrific.

Despite the progress with vaccinating people in the UK, the current rules appear to make June concerts here impossible. With the different rates of progress on vaccinating people in other countries, I bet it makes scheduling a tour almost impossible.

Within reason, I'd be happy to wait another year if push comes to shove but if there is a chance to hear or even see Crowded House in the next few weeks on the New Zealand tour, I'd be very glad indeed and happy to pay a ticket for a virtual show.

Whenever the shows take place, it is something to look forward to post COVID lockdowns, they'll be more than worth the wait :-)

...  not cancelled ! ..

"For obvious reasons we are postponing our UK/Europe tour to 2022. Thanks everyone for being so understanding and staying strong through this trying time. We cannot wait to be playing music for you all. What a cathartic time it will be.

Kia Kaha,
Crowded House

Original tickets remain valid for the new dates.

For London Roundhouse ticketholders:
Monday 14 June 2021 will now take place on Sunday 5 June 2022
Tuesday 15 June 2021 will now take place on Tuesday 7 June 2022
Wednesday 16 June 2021 will now take place on Wednesday 8 June 2022"

all of the re-scheduled dates on crowdedhouse

See you in 2022

I see they’ve just added a Saturday date in London (4th June 2022).

I bought tickets for the Saturday 4th July 2020 show.  Obviously, that was postponed and has now been scheduled for Sunday 5th June 2022.

I had assumed that the Saturday date was taken, so they’d had no option but to shift the days. Now it seems not.

It’s very disappointing to have paid so much for tickets, having specifically picked a Saturday night, only to find they’re now re-selling the Saturday tickets!

My partner is a teacher, we are 4 hours travelling time from the venue.  It was to be her first CH gig. We don’t be able to attend.

I’m a bit cheesed off. Maybe I’m turning into  Stewart Rooker? 😂
