European tour 2021 ...

Sorry to hear that for everyone affected - i do wonder why they dont come over to australia and tour ... covid restrictions lifted, venues reopening, deep affection for the band. Strikes me as odd theyhavent moved fo fill the empty schedule just across the ditch

Well at least we know, so some swift official confirmation around if this is a reschedule or cancellation would be appreciated...

Gutted mind you ... I wonder if this will prompt some scope for management to consider a live stream of one of the NZ shows for a global audience... 

Despite the progress with vaccinating people in the UK, the current rules appear to make June concerts here impossible. With the different rates of progress on vaccinating people in other countries, I bet it makes scheduling a tour almost impossible.

Within reason, I'd be happy to wait another year if push comes to shove but if there is a chance to hear or even see Crowded House in the next few weeks on the New Zealand tour, I'd be very glad indeed and happy to pay a ticket for a virtual show.

Whenever the shows take place, it is something to look forward to post COVID lockdowns, they'll be more than worth the wait :-)

UK September or October I think would be pretty safe ?

Looking like September, the Manchester date which is part of a festival series Sounds of the City is showing up on Songkick and bandsintown as being rescheduled for September 23rd. Very gkad its not another whole year

Unless they are sharing a bill with Paul Heaton & Jackie Abbot (Would be great backing singers!)  - I think the 23rd Sept date is possibly incorrect... see below

I see they’ve just added a Saturday date in London (4th June 2022).

I bought tickets for the Saturday 4th July 2020 show.  Obviously, that was postponed and has now been scheduled for Sunday 5th June 2022.

I had assumed that the Saturday date was taken, so they’d had no option but to shift the days. Now it seems not.  

It’s very disappointing to have paid so much for tickets, having specifically picked a Saturday night, only to find they’re now re-selling the Saturday tickets!

My partner is a teacher, we are 4 hours travelling time from the venue.  It was to be her first CH gig. We don’t be able to attend.

I’m a bit cheesed off. Maybe I’m turning into  Stewart Rooker? 😂

Feel free to consider the states. I'm getting emails about upcoming shows in Chicago so things will be opening up soon!  I hope Neil got some good BBQ when FM was in town (Birmingham)!
