While I share the feeling of unease and, to a degree, distaste for the background to the reincarnation of the band (though I acknowledge that no-one can actually know the details behind Mark's exclusion) - I think I might regret it if I did not go for tickets.  It's a chance to see Frenz, too  .

Today's email says the pre-sale is 0900 UK time on Wed 11th, but the LiveNation link says Thurs 12th.  Any clues?

Original Post

The email release sent earlier mentions pre-sale

Presale instructions:
If you live in a country having a presale, we will email you the presale ticket link and code for your event this Wednesday at 9am your time. This helps to keep tickets reserved for you, rather than scalpers.

Team NF

So all those signed up will receive an email on Wednesday with link(s) to pre-pre sale :-)

Sorry to be a bit thick, but when you say "those signed up" you mean the people that have signed up to neilfinn.com for info on the tour dates, which is obviously how I heard about the tour?

Yeap,

I received the email with the dates from both NF and CH emailing list and would expect the same to happen on Wednesday with the fan's pre-sale links......Hopefully!!!!!!

Any word of ticket prices?

Cork and Dublin are €49.90, plus fees; Manchester £55.25, plus fees. The other non-festival dates will likely be around the same price range.

I'm as conflicted as many about the announced line-up, but I'm always interested in what Neil's doing. What p*sses me off is buying tickets for a gig hundreds of miles away (Manchester) and then a gig 10 miles away (Glasgow) is announced shortly after. My funds and access to babysitters are limited. Travelling to Manchester is a completely different prospect now that there is a full tour. I know it won't be possible to get all dates announced at the same time (though most of the time they are), but it feels dishonest to not put out a press release saying UK tour dates will be announced or larger tour announcement in the works).

I'm surprised at the size of venue, in Scotland at least. Anticipation was much higher for the 'Live on Earth' tour than now, and by Intriguer they'd dropped from a 10,000 to a 3,000 seater venue.

I've heard Macca will release just a few dates at a time for nefarious reasons. I earnestly don't believe Neil and co are following that manner.  "Just saying"  : )

Can't remember any more how to insert a quote on these pages, but agree absolutely with Possessed7 about the size of the venues for the UK - are they REALLY going to fill Birmingham Arena?

PS perhaps someone could remind me about the quote thing?

The Roundhouse in London is small, isn’t it?  I was there many years ago for a photography exhibit and it seemed pretty small.

Same here......Gutted......I am sure these codes get released to other outlets.  Can only hope for an additional date!!!

Yippee !

Front row balcony seats for London (floor is standing), front row Arena seats for Birmingham.

Wonderful .......... Thanks Again !
Big Thankyou for the Fan Presale Organisers

£85 and down for Birmingham, I paid £75 for balcony seats for London, then you get the ticket bastard charges on top. Would not normally pay so much for a gig, but how long has it been .... 12 years .......... and will we see them after 2020 ?

I never got the e-mail. Not sure who I have to be signed up with anymore for the fan pre-sale. I'd registered through the Neil Finn and Crowded House sites.

Same here!

Pleased with Block B third row for Birmingham. Not so pleased about the cost and charges, bit of a rip off tbh. But like others have said, who knows if and when we will get to see "Crowded House" again..!

Me neither.

I was thinking of going to Glasgow in addition to the Manchester gig, but £75 seems a bit steep to me, ching just paid £55 for Manchester. Disappointed by the way this has all panned out tbh. Sorry to be a moaner.

@Jaffaman, any idea why several of us who are signed up to both CH and NF newsletters didn't get emails with pre-sale details today? It's really disappointing to miss out on something so fundamental as a fan pre-sale.

The emails were geo-targeted to UK and Germany to avoid spamming other countries. Do you use a VPN which might be blocking your location? Send me a message now at info@neilfinn.com and I'll send you the links. I've done that for a few others tonight. Heading to bed ASAP though...

Thanks. I've just e-mailed you.

Pre-sale link is working at 1050. I'm currently looking at the option to buy 2 for Saturday in London, seated (row F) or standing downstairs.

Not that I'm aware of. Is there anything I can do at my end to make sure that similar problems don't occur in future? Might it be an anti-spam/phishing software issue?

Was on the bus, phone in hand at 9am for London tickets (any), but was told none available - and the same at intervals throughout the morning :-( Anyone else find that they were show as "sold out" immediately?

There's another Ticketmaster (booo!) pre-sale of some sort tomorrow morning, and also general sale on Fri, so 2 more opportunities to chance my arm...

Got 2 for Standing at the Roundhouse, first attempt, all done by 0905 - seems we were lucky.  I think there was an O2 presale at the same time?

I had got the email from Crowded House but not from the Neil Finn site.  Just to add to the mystery.

Just playing around to see if any ticket still available and managed to get 6 for Sunday.  Rejected them as I was just curios so might be worth another go?
