No your Mum is probably telling the truth , but as we mention in the book there are probably several hundred gigs/dates that we don't have
on file, so get your Mum to send us the exact date(s) so we can add it to the list...maybe your Mum saw them in another city?

Japan exactly great fox, other tour dates added and Japan fell by the way side, same thing happened to Crowded House a few times where possible Japanese trips got blown out....but Crowdies made it once or twice(?).

Aaarghhh! The suspense is killing me. As usual I get the parcel way behind everyone else. *taps fingers . . . still waiting*

It's either my postie, or PG has me on some last to ship list, my club stuff always seems to come about 3 weeks after everyone else's.

I'll be patient, though *tap, tap, tap.*
'hexed' just email me and check.. easy to do.
Possibly you didn;t include your membership number with your order.....each order we have to double check the address to make sure it's going to your current address. Picture 900 padded envelopes ... those Frenz that make it easier on us by including their full membership # tend to get it quicker.

Could be other reasons, so just email me and I'll check the log book. Include your full name and address and mention what it's regarding.....

Yay! It's just arrived!!

*goes off to devour contents*
Phil made a comment the other night that we 'saved the best for last' (*GRIN*) in the book- ....meaning his Interview.

His pretty much was one of the last Interviews that we did, at his house in the hills (the other hills not our Kalorama hills) ... very relaxed and it was also filmed. You may find some of Phils Enz related tales as part of a bonus on one of the club dvdrs...gotta keep that Judd profile up! Was all very relaxed. The photo with Robert (& Phil) was taken just after the Hall of Fame dinner just over a year ago now. Just nice for nearly all the Enz to come together for that night, and pretty much something we had been working on at the office for many years, to get them into the Hall of Fame here. Crowded House will be next at some stage, and important that the Enz were inducted before the Crowdies I think.

Anyway good to have Juddy in the 'Letters to my Frenz' book along with the others.

No Semi-D. I didn't mean buy it on ebay. I meant free download it like you can STF. The link can be found right here on this site but I don't think that works anymore. Frowner
Anything that's available online means that its available to anyone who can get online.

A limited run of books means that its restricted to those who were lucky enough to get in and snap one up.

I prefer to have the book in my hand, however I wasn't aware of STF until I saw it online. I read the entire thing online, then decided that wasn't enough, and scoured Ebay until I was able to purchase a copy of my own.

Personally speaking, I hope LTMF doesn't end up online. I think part of its charm is its exclusivity. Smiler
Plus "letters' would be a nightmare to scan you'd probably have to rip apart the stitch binding because of the size.....it is a solid little bugger....(:

Still around 5% of the club are not online...maybe more..... we keep telling people that most library's have free Net access (or at lerats very cheap net access...well in oz anyway)

Once again, another forumist has said the EXACT words that I meant to say in the first place before slidding from discussion to long story! Red Face That's for W2S, not here. Thanx TR for the "shortened version". Smiler

Personally, I hate the idea of someone somewhere in the world ripping LTMF apart just to scan it just to put the [rubs hands together] "goodies" inside it online. Mad Wink
Geez Lynda spewing you didn't get that one from NZ ! Honestly it didn't pass through my hands Wink

Finally read the whole thing.
Love Trainspotting moments, can't think why. Enz showdates.
and Codges tales very good, a happy camper.
Will get around to reading Something so Strong, one day.

Just trying to think how many Enzish books are out there now ??

Book Enz ~ Nigel's
Stranger than Fiction
Something so Strong, well lots of info.

Letters to my Frenz
Hi Kelly

Here's the best news (and why I'm getting over never getting the first book and losing my money) - Mike Chunn and his daughter were in the bookstore a couple of weeks ago and the store owner had Mike Chunn sign the copy they had for sale (which is now my copy - as long as the post makes it this time).
So, it kind of makes up for it that I've now got a very recently signed copy.

YAY

Lynda
Lynda
that's good timing!!!!

I think there was only the one instore signing that was done when it first came out...I clearly remember a Frenz member turning up with Split Enz True Colours logo shaved into his haircut!!!

It was quite a collection of Enz memebrs at the signing too (even Mr Judd). All seems so long ago now. How many of you Forum NZers were at the Instore (and was one of you the Enz haircut guy?)
