''Attention- Crowded House Postpone Remaining Four Dates On Sell-Out Australian Dreamers Are Waiting Tour:
“I am absolutely crushed to have to postpone the last 4 shows of our Australian tour as I tested positive yesterday morning for Covid. In these very difficult conditions for touring, we were staying in our bubble and observing very strict protocols but somehow the virus still slipped through. I am relieved to be only experiencing mild symptoms at this stage and grateful for the protection that my triple boosted vaccination is providing.
I am so sorry to disappoint our fans this coming week, but rest assured we will be back to make good.”
-Neil Finn
These 4 shows are: Hobart’s Mystate Bank Arena tonight, Canberra’s Royal Theatre on April 21, and A Day On The Green dates at Mt Duneed Estate, Geelong on April 23, and Bimbadgen, Hunter Valley, on April 24.
Rescheduled dates, also including the band’s 3 sold out Perth shows, will be announced soon. All existing ticket holders will be notified of rescheduled dates via the official ticketing agency and are requested to retain their tickets. Original purchases will be valid for the new dates without the need for exchange.'

... keeping fingers firmly crossed for Neil's swift recovery .. the UK/European tour going ahead .. ... and all of you that had planned to attend those remaining Australian dates to still also get to see the Band albeit somewhat later than expected ... They'll be back !!

What a shame. Touring in the age of covid seems like such a high-wire act.  Must be hellish in terms of insurance and logistics.

I saw the band at the Centennial Vineyards in Bowral on Saturday night and it was magical - a beautiful still evening with a full moon rising over the stage just as the band started playing Fall At Your Feet.  Neil was in fine voice with no hint of the dreaded virus.

Get well Neil.

We were blessed to have seen crowded house in Melbourne Sydney and Bluesfest. No sign of Neil coming down with anything  and was in very fine voice. I must say though Bluesfest was the most crowded I’d ever seen.
wishing Neil a speedy recovery and thank goodness only slight symptoms.
I will definitely be watching myself as only double vaxxed 😏

In case anyone hasn’t seen the recent update that Neil’s Facebook team have posted to his FB page:

“Hi everyone ,

After the disappointment of having to postpone 4 shows in Australia, I am pleased to report that Liam and I are now back in tip top shape and I only have an itchy elbow from last night’s mosquito bite to complain about.

Very grateful to have announced a North American tour finally, been wishful thinking about it for 2 years. Also relieved and fully pumped about getting over to the U.K, Ireland and Europe to do the tour that has been planned now for 2 years.

The band was sounding so good in Australia and the audiences were in truly magnificent voice. It was a cruel blow to have to pull up short but all shall be made good. We are finalizing a new tour routing right now and should be able to announce the replacement dates very soon for the good folk of Perth, Hobart, Canberra, Days On The Green and yes, adding Brisbane!!!

In the meantime I must once again acknowledge and thank all the people tirelessly working on the front line for the good health and well being of the community. They are out there defending science and reason every day and that’s why we can now return to the stage.

We are so fortunate to have music in our lives and our families close. May good health and positivity come to bless you over the coming weeks and months.

Love

Neil”

So in the first round of this tour i got in early paid $178 for a seat in the nosebleeds of sydneys super aware theatre ... decided on a whim to look last night what tix are available for a show week after next ... i got a seat in Section four immediatey behind floor area as close as ud want with a little elevation for just $79 ...

Me too, but it will be worth it on the night, I am sure. The Aware theatre is sooo steep! I was at the back of the front section at the April shows.....and when I looked up, I thought people might start falling off the walls!  Even Neil commented on it.
Hope you have a wonderful time at the concert.
