I heard the ad on the radio today regarding the Telstra Pre Sale!!! I suddenly thought they will add more shows??? No ..., no such luck!!

So ...Safety reasons is being blamed for the 5000 only ... Well then they should of put a cap on the amount of tickets to be bought in one transaction ... Flight Centre should be a Fairer option... No scalpers !!! As you have to give your details ... For the hotels... And book too many rooms so fingers crossed, for NZ coming to Oz...

Don't forget Live Nation presale tomorrow. Please you must register. Apparently no password required , but you will need to log on.

I was in the queue but didn't get a ticket. Out of curiosity, what did I need to type as the pre-sale code? I tried my membership number/s but didn't work.

Forgive me if this is wrong but I'm fairly sure that Gryph sent the fan-club pre-sale info in the last VIP email. Something about having to sign-up as a member on the Opera House website BEFORE the pre-sale.

Perhaps that was the "code" it was asking for at the time? Your account membership password on that website - not your frenz membership number.

Usually these things are done with fan-club passwords and makes it a lot less confusing but there was no set password this time.

2 tickets per person would have been a fair limit I think. These days people want to buy as many as they can and brag about it on Facebook.

Ugh, I totally mucked up this Live Nation presale. Thought you had to go through either Live Nation or Ticketmaster's website; didn't even think to load up the Opera House's website - thought we were done with that piece of junk but look where we are again. I'm stuck so far back in the queue there's no chance I'll get anything.

And now Ticketmaster has a weird countdown to a presale at 1:30, but I suspect that is the result of the time being entered wrong on one page?

Yeah I just took a risk and didn't even bother with the live nation
website. I clicked on the link as soon as it clicked over to 1pm and got
straight through. Risky move but well worth it. Thanks for providing that
link the other day!

Looks like it's the general sale for me to get some Saturdays, unless my friend currently on hold with Flight Centre experiences a miracle.

I know what link I won't be forgetting to load!

Yes I concur. No luck. When I went to the link site I couldn't select any tickets, it bumped me back to the queue. The same thing happened at the fan club presale. If the general sale doesn't work out, then the DVD is looking good!

Lovely Catherine at Flught Centre Rouse Hill .... Yes yes yes going .... Plus 1 nights Accomodation .... Very happy !!!! No scalpers!!!!

Thought I had just got through with the Opera House link when some Saturdays came back into the pool - but no dice, got error messages every time after selecting number of tickets.

I DON'T BELIEVE IT, I SUCCEEDED!!

Patience paid off, waiting for purchases to not be completed and tickets thrown back in the pool.

SATURDAY HERE I COME!

It's been madness hasn't it. But I am in no doubt that this will be an incredible weekend.

Hope everybody else has had good luck today too! It sounds like Flight Centre has been successful for a number of people?

I just got tix through Flight Centre but it sounded as though I was lucky and there was only a handful of tix left. I'd definitely recommend it for those travelling a distance to attend. I could've done without the extra few hundred dollars for a hotel room as I'm within driving distance but now looks like I can have a couple of beers.

I know this is a bit of an extreme way to get them but I believe the Opera House Yearly Membership ("Insiders") has some tickets still. It's the Opera House members list. It costs $110 a year - if anyone want to head that way - give them a call first just to reconfirm that they still have some. Just thought I would mention that too.

Happy to see you got tickets Rhonda and Axver after your troubles in the last couple of pre-sales.

Thanks for that extra heads up PG...I know it is the next extreme measure to secure tickets but expect the general public sale on Monday to be utter chaos.

I'm starting to wonder how many tickets will even be available come the general sale! Between the fanclub allocation, Telstra, Live Nation, Flight Centre, and SOH Insiders, I'm wondering if there will even be much more than about 40% of the total tickets left?

For NZ fans looking to head over, the Flight Centre option is a good one. It was really easy, and it is not a pre-defined package (you can choose the flights and hotel that you want and they just add the ticket(s) in and give you a costing). The guy I dealt with thought they had plenty of tickets left (this was at 5pm) - he was more concerned about locking things in quickly before the affordable accommodation sold out.

Interesting... which flight center employee is telling the truth?

It might be that the allotment for Australian Flight Centre tickets sold out quickly but the NZ Flight Centre had their own allotment and not as much demand.

it would be interesting to know how many were sold in NZ compared to Aus...

Yeah that's probably the case. I'd be interested to know how many tickets each company got for their pre-sale and how many are left over for the general sale on Monday.

Yes correct, 3 flight centre consultants I spoke to on Wednesday knew nothing about it and had not had any enquiry... I was imagining 20 people deep today waiting.... Just walked in at 12.45.... And the consultant put everything into the computer, and took payment / confirmation at 1.03pm sooooooo excited !!!!!

Hi all,

I was lucky enough to score 3 tickets to the Saturday night concert at the Opera House. Unfortunately for me, a close friend has booked their wedding on the same night so I can no longer attend the concert.

As such I have 3 tickets to sell to the Saturday night show. If you are interested please private message me and we can go from there.

This may be your only chance to secure tickets before they sell out in the general sale on Monday. I can assure you this is 100% legitimate and I can forward you the confirmation emails to prove that.

Well, in my desperation I did the Flight Centre thing and after a lengthy call to them on Friday afternoon received confirmation today that I have a ticket to Saturdays show.  It was a bit of a painful process but for $210NZD I have a show ticket :-)  The minimum extra I needed to book was a nights accommodation which I was quoted at $30 for a backpackers, which I don't need to use as I am staying with friends.  Not sure what the other $50-$60 covers but I have a ticket and that's all that matters really :-)  For those that are interested I did not have to book flights with Flight Centre, just accommodation and they were more than happy to offer the cheapest available just to get things across the line.  I will  engage in the general sale tomorrow as I would really like to go to the Friday night gig as well, but at least now I won't be stressing, as I really don't think I could go through that again.  I can't believe how stressful this week has been - just goes to show how popular and well loved our boys are :-)  Best of luck to those who are engaging in the general sale tomorrow.

Just letting everyone know that they are working on power lines in our National Park tomorrow  (26th) from 8-6 , so our office is closed while they do that. It means we won't be able to reply to emails,Net etc.  Hopefully it will be back on by 7.00 , so I'll try to head in around that time.   We had just over 10,000 emails (in 2 days) regarding the Opera House gigs , which I believe is close to a record number for us!  Amazing, and exhausting but still great that people care. Thanks everyone.

If anyone is still trying for tickets - use the link that Callum posted above.  I had no problems getting two tickets for Saturday night.  And I've just gone on (at 10.22am) and have been able to pull up tickets easily for both the Saturday and Friday nights - it doesn't even say Limited Availability.

How is this possible?  I have been sitting in that queue straight from Callum's link for 25 minutes now and still waiting.  Even tried again and that put me at the back of the queue.  Would love a ticket for Friday night if anyone has a chance or has better luck with that link than me!

Stay tuned people - CH Facebook page has just said there'll be an announcement at 1pm  (EST I would think). Sounds like maybe live streaming? Someone else has said a Thurs gig but that was not from an official source. PG would have the goss but with their connection being down today we might not hear it from him first this time.  Isn't it all just so exciting!!!!!

Geez, do I really want the rumours of a third show to be true? On the one hand, a third show! On the other, I was quite enjoying this morning without ticket-buying stress.

A link popped up on the Ticketmaster site for a short time. It was a link to a 3rd show on Thurs 24th. Tickets on sale 5th October.

Hey guys if anybody is still looking for a Saturday ticket, I still have 2 available that I need to sell. Private message me if you are interested.
