The thing is, how would such a collection be compiled? A great many tracks were only released in the UK, and some were exclusive to other territories. So, would a box be based on UK singles, Aussie singles or a hybrid? Would it be vinyl only (pointless IMO) or make use of the multiple formats that were issued on CD in the 1990s?

A tricky one . I started collecting  the singles and had a list ( from somewhere) to check off from.I got them all save Better Be Home Soon which at that time was priced at £20.. far too much so I didn't bother. Most of the "singles"  as you know were "doubles" with alternative "B" sides of live tracks  and of course we have the special World Where You Live single which after 8 years or so shatters to small pieces without warning  and Locked Out which becomes covered in some sort of plastic sticky gluey stuff... how on earth are they going to replicate those ? I should say my collection was based purely on UK issues .
