CH Special on XM Radio Wednesday 1/23/08

The "Fred" channel, channel 44, on XM Satellite Radio is featuring a 1 hour special on Crowded House on their "Surface Noise" program tomorrow. The show will air at 4 am, 12 pm, and 11 pm Eastern Time. It was recorded at the Beacon Theatre show in NYC and features music as well as talk from the band. There are no commercials on this station so I think this could be pretty good!

If you don't have a subscription to XM in your car or home, the Fred channel is also available on DirectTV and it's also possible to sign up for a free trial of XM and listen online (I think this may be U.S.A. only though).

AAhhhh, this show made my Wednesday. I'm in the car a lot because of my job (Beer Salesman!) My XM has the ability to record so I listened to the FRED show for most of the day. I requested Liam's Gather to the Chapel on another channel (UPOP), so I had a full day with the family. Love the interview bits with Matt & Nick in between. Such a charmer, that Nick. I didn't know about the story behind Heaven That I'm Making. It actually makes listening to it now even more enjoyable. I have to get that Kufala recording of the Beacon show now. The Banter seemed in top form.
