Bound to Rescue

Freedom lies, without good heart
Find a way to stop? Or a way to end
The mystic wand, the fair weather friend
Find a way to stop or a means to end.

Torn my hopes,
Let the battle commence
There is my honour,
Let the battle commence
There is my honour,
Bound to rescue.
Bound to rescue.

The dawn he has no intellect,
Any danger will with his sword protect.
The tribal dance, a fight to the death,
For our worst desires, make us blind to the rest.

If to conquer the mass,
Let the battle commence.
There is my honour
Bound to rescue
Bound to rescue
Bound to rescue
Bound to rescue
All in fire
Bound to rescue
All in fire
Bound to rescue

Firstly, have I got the lyrics right?
Secondly any thoughts on their meaning?
we like it different passion & commitment

Its a grower on me..at first, I didnt care much for this song, but after repeated listenings I started to like it, speccialy guitar part after Neils singing "bound to rescue, bound to rescue". It last only few seconds, but its very strong CH moment to me. Bound to rescue is another great or very good (to me) song left from legacy of Intriguer era. Hope there are more fans than before who appriciate that now!

And, to answer on your questions Kittybear- unfortunately I cant tell are your lyrics wright, english is not my first language. And dont have a clue for what they are about...

Where did you hear it back in 2013?

Seems pretty close to what we get on Intriguer deluxe. The parts I hear differently, but may not be correct:

First verse:  'start' instead of 'stop'.

First chorus: 'Upon' instead of 'torn'. I thought it was 'host', but 'hopes' sounds reasonable. 'Let the battle commence/There is my honour' is not repeated.

Second chorus: 'If to conquer we must'
