Movies so good you either-
1.Went and saw it in the theatre more than once.
OR
2.Had to have a copy of your own when it was released on tape or dvd.
Some of mine (in no particular order) are:
Shawshank Redemption - Intense and clever
Matrix - Technical despite Keanu Reeves
Highlander - I still like it 18 years later (although I should have put all of the sequels in my Worst list)
Ferris Bueller's Day Off - Do I even have to explain?
Animal House - Ditto
Tombstone - "I'm your Huckleberry"
Goodfellas - No explanation needed
Glory - Cause I felt it an honorable and accurate Civil War movie
Saving Private Ryan - Same reason, about WWII
Bachelor Party - A REALLY early Tom Hanks movie so stupid, I laugh my ass off every time
The Hunt for Red October - Very Tom Clancy
Airplane! - "Surely you can't be serious"
High Fidelity - One of the only films I identify with
Hell, I could go on, but I'd rather see your favorites.
