It's pretty good too haha! Seriously though, thanks for sharing this too the forum, I launched the podcast last week and it's had WAY MORE listens that I could have anticipated. I've tried to keep a balance of live stuff hardcore fans may have come across and then some deeper bootleg stuff they may not have heard too. Hoping to keep putting an episode put each week. I've been a long term lurker on this forum, but finally signed up for an account to post
- Chris (the Jafa)
Very odd having someone go by Jafa who isn't Jeremy
Ah shoot I just searched the forum and spotted 'jaffaman' and his connection to Neil Finn. I've just connected the dots. Jeremy has messaged me in the past too re some neil social media, nice guy too. I can see how that would cause some confusion. Certainly not my intention! I have a Pearl jam podcast where I go by 'the kiwi', but that felt a little too generic for a podcast about an NZ artist. Jafa sounded better than 'chris' and was fitting being from auckland. I will change it from the jafa moving forward as the association isnt helpful. Thank you for flagging it for me.
Suggestions for new hosting names welcomed....
some of these shows brought back memories from my club CD collection . I have played the banter at the end of TWT 3 times now . It gets funnier each time.

Oh, no, I was just observing a funny coincidence! Totally wasn't trying to suggest you change your plans.
No worries at all. I probably got a bit in my own head about it not wanting to misrepresent or rub any one the wrong way; all is happy, and more episodes on the way
Enjoying these, well chosen material and your wraparound commentary is cool too.
Would echo what Sinner62 has said. Loved this podcast, good music and well told stories / commentary.
Thanks for the warm feedback, it makes me smile and is very motivating 😁

another great show with a snippet of Kill Eye. FYI Suffer Never was filmed at St Helens rugby league ground in St.Helens ( Merseyside is the name of the area and covers all cities and towns in the area ,Liverpool, St Helens etc)
Thank you for the info! It sometimes feels like a bit of a stab in the dark trying to make quick sense of internet info, but I enjoyed the rugby rabbit hole nonetheless, glad you enjoyed it 😁
I just wanted to post an update. I've been thrilled to join Chris on his 240 Gigabytes of Neil Finn podcast for two recent episodes (and more to come).
Check out our conversation about the Crowded House 1991 Town & Country Club show here.
And in the recently released episode, we chat about Neil's 2002 Washington, DC show here.
Chris is doing amazing work with this podcast. It's a true labor of love. Highly recommended - so many amazing performances from every era of Neil Finn.
