So I need to create a best of compilation for Neil's solo work as one of my friends would like to hear some of his songs and that is her preferred form to experience music for the first time. As we know, there isn't a best of album. Has anyone suggested a best of on a different thread on the forum? If not, what songs would you put on it?

Excellent. Here's what I recommend. You see the problem with Neil Finn is that his best songs are almost always slow or mid-tempo middle of the road pop songs. Don't get my wrong, they're the best songs ever written, but when you put them all together the result can be a bit dull. So you gotta spice it up with some of Neil's more interesting material.
