Thanks for this list; indeed very useful for reference. I miss Tim's Rarities, Demos, Live Performances Vol. I on your list. Not sure if you didn't list it because it self-released, but just wanted to let you know.
Nice list! I would add Phil Manzanera's K-Scope which like Southern Cross featured Tim on lead vocals for a few tracks. Other Enzers were also involved. Mark Hart was a member of Supertramp for a few albums before and after Crowded House. Neil was featured prominently on several Dave Dobbyn albums including as producer and co-songwriter on Twist. Phil contributed music to a movie called Amy in 1997 but I don't know if the soundtrack was officially released.
I have a very good quality mp3 copy of the whole Soundtrack LP with channels cleared up by one Aussie fellow several years back. I can offer this with pleasure if you only wish to listen. Just send a PM. "Strange Weather" is a very good choice. If you wish to buy the LP that is a different case.
Below is a generated folder list of every available Enz-related studio album/EP/project I can think of. I own a physical CD copy of everything listed (with the exception of a few that are digital only), and everything in these folders are lossless FLAC files (all tagged properly, with cover art). However, I am missing the bold/italic releases. So I guess my question is, aside from the bold/italic releases, am I missing anything obvious? Also, has anyone managed to find themselves copies of...
Cheers Spencer. Have since got myself a copy of K-Scope . Not sure I'd consider albums Neil has 'produced' as part of my canon, even if he did happen to co-write a song or two. I know Mark Hart has played with Supertramp a fair bit, even singing lead vocals on some of Roger Hodgson's songs, but has he played on any of their studio albums or sung on any studio recordings? I mean if we're including Supertramp where do we draw the line? Yeah hard to include some of Phil Judd's soundtrack work...
Hey Stew - have you considered the two Citizen Band albums (Citizen Band 1978, and Just Drive Thru Town 1979)? I’m guessing that they aren’t there because they were never released on CD, and Rust In My Car (which is on CD) isn’t there because it’s a compilation?
Not sure if you want to add Nigel's - Sleeper and Tim and Anna Paquin's - The Magnificent Nose. Just had a quick look back and you don't have either LLT EPs. Although I think they had live tracks on them.
Been listening to this; not quite what I expected. The Tim-sung tracks are good (Strange Weather is excellent!), could do with the dialog bits. I'm betting the movie was pretty dreadful. Question: What was Tim's involvement in the music other than the four (I think) he sang on? Did he write the orchestral ones, or did someone else do the score? And did he write the ones he sang? Sound like his. IMDB and Wiki were no help, as a matter of fact, IMDB just lists Tim as "performer" on one track,...
I picked up a copy of this while in LA last month. I was stoked to find it along with a record of Big Canoe remixes! According to the liner notes Tim did the entire thing. The instrumental tracks with help from Michael J. Kenny - whoever that is.
