The end was quite something , neither Neil or Nick wanted to go and I thought I saw Mark go over and shake his head at Nick as he was asking someone off stage about doing a couple more songs.
Highlights - Private Universe - Matt Sherrod was amazing on the drums. In Your Command, Mean to Me ,Walking on the Spot and She goes on were excellent.Massive banter between the guys. They were on stage for nearly 2 1/2 hours!
Lowlights - I have no idea what the security guys were up to, being too far away, whatever it pissed off Neil big time. Disappointed not to hear the stories from the previous Wembley gig as promised by Neil early on!
Of all the gigs I was at though Dublin, Belfast, Glasgow and London. I think I preferred the Dublin one the most.It was more intimate, more communal and raucous at the end. London came very close.
quote:'Fall at your feet' dedicated to Paul was wonderful. This song was sang at the RAH on the Finn brothers tour after Paul died. That night it was impossible to sing without crying. This time it was still full of sadness but with so much love as opposed to the deep sadness and numbing loss felt at the RAH.
You've mixed this up with Four Season's in One Day.
I have no doubt whoever is going to the Albert Hall will have an amazing experience. Despite them being at the very end of their tour, they had so much enthusiasm and energy.
