Reply to "Wembley WOW !"

It's been 10 years in the making, but now far from my (and their) teary farewell at the Hanover Grand, it's back to business - and the title of the link says it all - WOW! I was completely blown away by last night's performance. Wembley tends to be a bit of a barn of a venue - I hope the sound wasn't swirling around at the back like it used to before the makeover? From block A, squashed into the smallest seats for half the set before we jumped up and danced, the sound was fantastic. Neil and the band made the barn feel like your local pub, with banter, laughs and foot stompingly good music.
The opening track, "Private Universe" was where I thought "oh yes, new drummer, welcome!" and there he must now stay. You are fantastic Matt.
All the old staples were in there (and Wembley was on fine singing form for them!) but also some surprises, Throw Your Arms, Walking On the Spot, She Goes On. Can't wait to hear Distant Sun again on the live CD - it was my track of the show, totally rocked.
If RAH on Tuesday is half as good as last night I'll be one very happy fan.
