I believe the point of this thread was to discuss what old songs might be on the new CH album so that's what we're doing.

Neil may not live in the past but he does spend a lot of time visiting it. Of the last 4 CH shows I've attended, 90% of the material was from the original CH albums and 0% of it was from anything Neil wrote and recorded between 1996-2005. Also, of the 4 original Crowded House albums, both the debut and Together Alone included songs from Neil's Past. "I Walk Away", "Walking on the Spot", and "Catherine Wheels", for example, and those are just the ones we know about. He may have sneaked in a couple other old ones from time to time without telling anyone. My point is that there is clearly a president for this conversation.

I think it's more likely that the band will record a recent rarity than that they'll go back and record some Woodface outtakes but you really never know. After all, "Walking on the Spot" was around for a good 10 years and "Catherine Wheels" for about 15.
