It's an interesting question what Neil will do with the songs that come to him now, that don't really "fit" the Crowded House context. Save 'em up for a future solo album? Try to adapt them to fit the CH context?

And then of course the band has stretched, has to an extent branched out, rhythmically and texturally. It will be a challenge to consolidate the musical gains they've made as a performing unit over these past two tours, while still retaining the band's unique identity and focus.

Hm. I feel like I had a point back when I started typing that. Oh well - that'll have to do!
