I totally disagree that Nick Bollinger’s review was more descriptive than analysis.

At the end of listening to my review I was actually quite taken by how much insight he provided me, as a long time Neil fan. As he made his comments it felt like he was verbalising things that made sense and found myself concurring aloud with  ’yes’ ‘yes’ . I always enjoy his reviews, but on this I felt his perspective nailed what it was I liked about it, and made me listen with an extra level of thought. I especially like the commment that together they made an album neither could have made alone. I also concurred with linkages to the first Finn album.

This review provided me with insightful analysis, and gave me perspectives that helped me listen with new ears to the album that was really starting to grab me and reveal as one surpassing my expectations. I had been somewhat lukewarm about Liam but very happy with this album.
