I Walk Away (CH version)
Every time Neil sings "I walk away from you" he lowers his tone towards the end of the line... Until the very last time he sings it before the fadeout begins. He yells it in this tearing voice, as the song's final exhilarating gasp and the final steak through the heart of the relationship he's walking away from.

That moment alone makes this the definitive version of the song for me.

I heard the CH version before the Enz version, so I have no attachment to the original piece that I usually have when trying to appreciate covers. From this unbiased position I completely agree that CH delivered the definitive version. It comes as little surprise as I always preferred the rockier sound of CH. In fact, the vast majority of my Enz listening is live performances- compared to their studio sound, the instrumental section is stronger, no overbearing production and Tim's voice has far more character.
