The end of "Whispers and Moans" when Neil goes into his yelling rant always makes the hairs on my neck stand up. A constant reminder that I seem to have hair on my neck for some reason.
"Never Be The Same" -- the melody leap from "We might still survive - and rise up THROOOOOOOOOGH........" is stunning.
The "Oh, tell me please, why it takes so long" section of "Now We're Getting Somewhere" is so aching and catchy - it's hard to believe he had an entirely different verse for that chorus when he first wrote it because the final song sounds so organic as if it could never had been otherwise. How do you do that? I'm a songwriter and building an organic verse to lead to an already established chorus is so hard - and Neil seems to do it all the time ("Fall At Your Feet" being another prime example).
"Driving Me Mad" the "music taking me..." line going into the accordion/musical section perfectly captures the feeling of being distracted and pulled into your creative brain from the real world/real people/real problems of real life. That's one of my favorite Finn songs.
