lol Grace! I rented Amelie at your suggestion! We bailed after about half an hour...we couldn't bring ourselves to care about the main character because she was so dishonest and manipulative, and that's about all there was to pay attention to. And Braveheart...well...that's for eye candy, plain and simple.

[Edit: OK, I lied. I like the WHOLE movie, on so many levels, eye candy is just ONE. Longshanks is only the best movie badguy, EVER....]

Many of the ones on our lists jive, though, so I wouldn't say we could *never* go to the movies.
