Very Very Best Of!!

Neil has employed Bob Ludwig to master almost all his projects for a long time now. I'm not sure what kind of input CH had with Very Very Best Of (I had thought they had none at all, until reading Jaffaman's comment about management rejecting the original master) but if it were up to them they probably would have used Bob.

Thank you Paul your reply Smiler.

You've sort of got it right I have very little time to actually sit down and listen to the music I love uninterrupted but I'll try some of the things you suggest and if I need anymore help I'll PM you.

They're just saying it's the "remastered" version from Afterglow. It actually says "1999 Remastered Version" so it isn't anything new. Sorry to disappoint, but that's pretty much what this collection excels at.
Well, I bought it. I was buying one for my exchange student and it was 2 for $20, and I couldnt find another CD that was 2 for $20 that I wanted, so 2 Very Very Best Of's is what I bought. (And a Barb CD, which they had a few of, despite having not a single Neil Finn or Paul McCartney CD. Not even a marker where they should have been....blasphemy) I did happen to put a Crowded House CD on the ledge where they display featured CD's. Mua hahaaa.

Run on sentences fully intended. Wink

Anyway, my thougths so far: Interesting that the first few songs are the poppier pop songs. I've only actually listened up to the end of song 5 so far.....just the drive home. I actually have been enjoying the cover art with all its visual references to Crowdie lyrics. Has anyone else looked at the newspaper with a magnifying glass?
