I was thinking that PG probably has a fairly thick skin, or he would have run screaming from working with NZ musicians a long time ago.

BTW: I have had Phil Judd make sarcastic statements at my expense. While I did a double take at first, not expecting that, in hindsight I find it amusing.

If PG is in fact a delicate flower, then if he makes this known, I'll be very careful to not bruise his feelings in the future.

Favourite shows are hard calls- Enz Bondi Lifesaver shows 1979, Crowdies the obvious Newcastle Gig (Newcastle Jam) and the Crowded Enz Gig at middle Park- first show as "Crowded House" -amazing shows, loved Neils Dizzy Hts gig at The Falls (Lorne), Fanclub Shows at the Corner for Crowdies... Tim Finn-Tim Finn period some great shows, Finns Bros Belvoir WA, Canada CVanada Canada, Gent Woodface,  so many great gigs- these few are just obvious.

Re: "OneIssue" Judd is a non issue why waste energy even commenting, all that is his "stuff" - it's just not worth the effort.-we wish him well that his life improves from what it was.  Naked bollocks- skin is skin you see endless skin on tours as we all get older we hope to see less!  The Gig number will grow the skin number will decrease! Such is life.

I was reading the interview online the other day , cant remember which source, where Neil reiterated that he wouldn't be touring again for a few years. Of course it's Neils life, but I feel sad that he seems at such a performing peek right now, and we'll miss the oppurtunity to see him during this time.

It looks like the next time we get a chance to go to a show he will be at least 60 !

Where does the time go ?

I first saw Crowded House back in 1991 in Boston and loved the show.  A friend of mine was visiting from Holland got us tickets to see his "favorite band of all time"--yes, CH.   Why I didn't follow CH after that, I'm not sure.  But this past year I feel like I made up for lost time and missed shows.  This past year I reconnected with Neil's music and discovered he was going on tour.  I joined the fanclub last October--thanks Peter!  So this was my year to see Neil on tour, and I enjoyed every single moment of seeing he and his super talented band and traveling to a few different countries as well.  All the Dizzy Heights shows I attended were truly spectacular and special each night.  Another added layer of goodness, was that I was fortunate enough to travel with some Frenz (now dear friends) around New Zealand and see all five DH NZ shows with them.

The extra special shows for me were Boston, Dublin, Napier, Auckland (thanks Jaffaman for the pics!) and Christchurch--thank you Neil Finn!

I've seen Neil 12 times.
