Hey Campus no sadly ABC/Countdown threw out/erased about 80% of their stuff many many years ago, the 'No Bother to me" that some fans have came from our own library...it's just a bad quality video that I own and fading fast. Sad though as so much cool Countdown stuff is gone forever. Some of the Anniversary stuff is good, some can't be used as the sound recording didn't work out....my main fear is because it was filmed by Stratford Productions would it be in the hands of the liquidators too-...

WWY started getting airplay during a rather difficult period in my life, and the song struck a note with me. I even made a tape of it with the song done 7 or 8 times. That was because I broke my cassette tape by rewinding it so much! It seems like I never like the first song (or last...

Hi Sarah - welcome! Sounds like you're approaching a place similar to where I found myself last summer awaiting my first opportunity to meet Neil after 15 years. It's great that you're generating some discussion here to move that nervous and expectant energy! I echo what all the others on this thread have said, but I'll add my unique experience of meeting Neil. First of all let me say that in the time since I did meet him I've realized that I had a great deal of expectation riding on that...

I agree with Heidi's points about the culture of fast food being obnoxious and misleading, but I can't agree that fast food is the same as smoking. The HUGE difference between the fast food and tobacco situations is that nicotene is chemically addictive over the long-term, which interferes with the user's ability to make a rational choice about whether to even USE the product. The cig companies KNEW this (the prosecution had the memos) and they put it in there anyway, without the knowledge...

Um... you should certainly seek out the album "Finn" which is songs by both Tim and Neil. Try www.hmv.com (as recommended by fanclub president, Peter Green) And I take it you are familiar with the Crowded House and Split Enz back catalogues? (Oh and of course Tim's several solo albums!) If not, try typing each of those artist names into the HMV search engine and... welcome to a world of truly FABULOUS disovery, and DIVINE music! Mocker is right about starting with family you know of & working back. You must always be sure of the connection. You can't assume that someone with the same name is your relative! Not sure what you have in the US but if you start with, say, your parents birth certs that should give you your grandparents names at the very least.
